Sucks that I kinda blew a large amount on it this morning, but no regrets here (:
STOP!!! YOU GUYS ARE MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO AFFORD THEM!!! The 16mm f2.8 and 50mm f1.2 are both out of my budget and insanely difficult to find because of you people!!!
The folks who started the Disposable Memory Project have a new project! The 100 Project.
They’re giving 100 disposable cameras to 100 people between 1 and 100 years old. They’re looking for people to fill all age groups, so check out the 100 so far and apply!
Got up this morning at like 7 something. Sat in bed till 9. Took a shower and got dressed for the camera show at the Elk Lodge in Pasadena. Okay, that was actually climatic, I almost got a Mamiya M645… So close! But my dad decided save up for a Hassleblad instead. I’m gonna be so broke by the time I spend all my money on that Hassleblad -.- It’s $345 for just the body… No lens, no film back, no viewfinder, nothing, just the damn body, but I gotta admit, it is such a sexy body. Ugh! The Mamiya was only $275! Full kit too! Came with a body, 80mm, 120 film back, and a grip. Chjskghjalapa! Why?! Oh well, at least I ended up with a new 28mm for my Minolta, and a Minolta to Canon EOS adapter. Kinda got the wrong one, but it’s still pretty nice for macro. Anyways, I came home, spent like 10 minutes packing my Minolta, and went back out to volunteer. “Cooked” spaghetti. I actually just wandered around pretending to do something. Then I get home and here I am cooling off my popped blisters. Oh there’s also an eclipse outside. Looked into it like a retard earlier and I’ve been dealing with a green blob in the middle of my vision for like 30 minutes now. Well yeah. That’s all. God dammit, should just went with the Mamiya.
Ultimate DIY camera lamp!
Not only is the body made of cameras, but the lamp shade is made of slides. Our pal Stacie put together this tutorial on how to make one at home.
